August Evenings in Methoni, Pieria.
Visual group exhibition of the Association of Visual Artists of Pieria, at the Cultural Center of Methoni.
Theme: “With Water”
Water. H20. The soul of the planet, the essence of the body, calm and gurgling, brooding and deep, ours and dangerous together, known and mysterious, now and always.
Flow is the way of the Tao. Through water, nature fills every void and moves without resistance. Worlds without water are dead. The quiet lake calms down, the rushing river rebels and the living sea fills bottomless depths. Life flows drop by drop. Water, a living entity, drowns and revives, harvests and heals, quenches the need, and represents abundance.
Nothing represents life more than this magical element, which exists in all forms of matter. Liquid, solid, gas, eternal. (text by Konstantia Karletsa)
