Every year, in early December, the Association of Visual Artists of Pieria (AVAP) holds its annual group exhibition where there is an open invitation to all its members to participate with a single work of art. This way we celebrate art and show our advancement as artists to the people who follow us. This year, as the new board of the Association, we did our best to create a serious yet creative atmosphere for the opening day of the exhibition on 15th of December and I am honored, as a secretary, to be a speaker. The exhibition will last till the 23rd of December 2024 at Katerini’s Urban School and people already embraced the event. The quality of the artworks is better than previous years and this gives hope for our artistic future.
