Pieria Cancer Association holds its yearly exhibition called “Touches of Art and Hope” in Golden September to inform about cancer and especially about children and cancer. This delicate and difficult task helped solo artists like Ivanka Ivanova, who teaches art at the Association and she is also a member of the Art Union of Pieria, and the Art Union of Pieria itself with many artists who offered their artworks as a gift to be sold and support the Association. The exhibition is held at the Urban School of Katerini, a building dedicated to artistic and cultural activities. The opening took place on September 21st at 7 pm. and the exhibition will last for a week. A lot of people from all Pieria residency came to honor the exhibition and we, as a Union, are happy we participate in this event. So so happy I myself donated one of my paintings to help with the task.
